Harrowdown Hill

This song is by Thom Yorke and it's about David Kelly, a former weapon inspector in Iraq at the time Saddam Hussein was still in charge and who truly knew about the situation concerning weapons of mass destruction - the government's official justification for invading Iraq. His evidence questioned the entire situation as it proved that there of course wasn't any threat at all. This evidence pulled him through a massive storm of attention from the medias and put him under an unbearable pressure from his own government as he now had to stand against his own country all by himself. This unbearable pressure forced him to take the ultimate consequence. (Some conspiracies say that he was murdered, but no matter what the government truly knew that this might be the result of the weight on his shoulders!) The 17th of July Kelly's body was found in the woods of Harrowdown Hill. He had overdosed himself with medicine and cut his left wrist with a knife had owned since his youth.

Don't walk the plank like I did
You will be dispensed with
When you've become inconvenient
In the harrowdown hill
Where you went to school
That's where I am
That's where I'm lying down

Did I fall or was I pushed?
Did I fall or was I pushed?
And where's the blood?
And where's the blood?

I'm coming home
I'm coming home
To make it all right
So dry your eyes

We think the same things at the same time
We just cant do anything about it

So don't ask me
Ask the ministry
Don't ask me
Ask the ministry

We think the same things at the same time
There are so many of us
So you can't count

We think the same things at the same time
There are too many of us
So you can't count

Can you see me when I'm running?
Can you see me when I'm running?
Away from them

I can't take their pressure
No one cares if you live or die
They just want me gone
They want me gone

I'm coming home
I'm coming home
To make it all right
So dry your eyes

We think the same things at the same time
We just cant do anything about it

We think the same things at the same time
There are too many of us
So you can't count

It was a slippery slippery slippery slope
It was a slippery slippery slippery slope
I feel me slipping in and out of consciousness
I feel me slipping in and out of consciousness

Ciao Matteo! Prima di tutto, anch'io sono in periodo Radiohead.. *__ *
e poi volevo chiederti se avevi voglia di venire anche tu al concerto dei Muse a bologna (pensavo di andare sulle gradinate) il 2 Dicembre...
